What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be inspired by God and Profitable for instruction, reproof, conviction of sin, correction and training in righteousness. We believe God is omnipotent and exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus is true God and born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit. He died and rose, ascended into heaven and is our advocate to the Father and He will return again. We believe man was created in the image of God, fell into sin, is redeemed through the blood of Jesus. We believe the church is composed of the body of believers, presenting their bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God. We believe in water baptism by immersion and communion through the Lord's supper.

Why We Worship the Way We Do

The Word of God says, "...You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve" Matthew 4:10. In the book of John, Chapter 4, the scriptures say "The hour is coming and is now when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth. For the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and Truth."

You may observe us standing to sing

The scriptures say: "After these things I looked up, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nation, tribes, peoples and tongues, STANDING before the throne...crying out with a loud voice..." Revelations 7:9

Praying in The Spirit

You may observe our praying in the Spirit during our corporate prayer. Corporate prayer is a time that the believers collectively pray and petition Heaven with our requests. And the word of God says, "one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding]." I Corinthians 14:2.
