Faith Confessions

You may observe our confessing scriptures and speaking positive things on behalf of our church and community. The Word of God says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue," Proverbs 18:21. We believe with our confessions that we are either creating life or death. Man shall eat the fruits of his speech. Also, Job 22:28 says, "You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God's favor] shall shine upon your ways. "

Articles of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be inspired by God and profitable for instruction, reproof, and conviction of sin, correction and training in righteousness. II Timothy 3:16
  2. We believe God is omnipotent and exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 43:10-11
  3. We believe Jesus is true God and born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit. He died and rose, ascended into heaven and is our advocate to the Father and He will return again. Luke 1:26-33
  4. We believe man was created in the image of God, fell into sin, and was redeemed through the blood of Jesus. Titus 2:14
  5. We believe the church is composed of the body of believers, presenting their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Romans 12:1-3
  6. We believe in water baptism by immersion. Matthew 3:6-13
  7. We believe in communion through the Lord's Supper. I Corinthians 10:16-17
  8. We believe in the return of Jesus Christ. I Thessalonians 4:15-16
  9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and unsaved, the saved will receive everlasting life; the unsaved will receive everlasting damnation. I Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelation 21:8
  10. We believe the finished work of Christ on the cross provides reconciliation and healing for the believer. Romans 8:1, I Peter 2:24
